Spirit of Stonewall Friend of Pride Award! Pastor Jane has been an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community since she arrived in 2018. Known for her vibrant and humorous approach to ministry, she has been instrumental in organizing events like the Stonewall 50th Anniversary Observance and the Interfaith PRIDE Shabbat, building bridges between the church and the broader community. She has successfully led her congregation in creating a welcoming space where ‘all means all.
Keep an eye out for Pastor Jane waving proudly from a convertible in the Palm Springs Pride Parade on November 9, 2025!

Come See Us At Pride!
We are so excited to announce that UMC Palm Springs will have a booth at Palm Springs Pride 2025, located on Arenas Street in the beautiful Palm Springs. We'll be there sharing the message that’s at the heart of our church: God’s love is for everyone. All means All — no exceptions, no conditions. Everyone is welcome. New this year — we’re supporting Youth Pride for the very first time! We’re thrilled to be part of this important event for LGBTQ+ youth and their allies. We'll be working the Youth Pride event on November 8 & 9 — in addition to our main booth at Pride. Let’s come together to celebrate love, inclusion, and Pride.
Join Us for a Special Concert! Nov 23, 3p.m.

A Message from Pastor Jane
Welcome to the United Methodist Church of Palm Springs…or as I often call it, the United Methodist Church for Palm Springs! I am thrilled to lead this congregation in all the ways it says “yes” to sharing God’s love - and Kingdom Party - with our community. As you journey through these pages, may your soul be fed and your heart strangely warmed! I hope to see you online, at our campus, or around town sometime soon.

Voices Reclaimed
This fall, we’ll begin with a book study of How to End Christian Nationalism by Amanda Tyler, facilitated by Kay Brown. Through thoughtful conversation and shared reflection, we’ll reclaim our voices and rediscover our power—individually and as a community. Seven sessions are planned, meeting every other Saturday.

🌈 All Means All!
We are a proud member of the Reconciling Ministries Network. We support and welcome all people regardless of age, race, economic or marital status, gender identity or sexual orientation.

We are committed to helping you connect with life-giving community and to make a positive difference in the world.
We are all about helping people find community connection within a faith context. At UMCPS, we encourage each person to be themselves: to bring their questions, their doubts, their sexual identity, their deepest passions and values - and lean into the community with trust. A lot of people move to the Coachella Valley looking for a deep sense of community in the second half of life - each year, more folks discover this at UMCPS, often in ways that defy expectations.
We do a lot to try to bless our neighbors. We are in the kitchen several times each week, preparing meals for hungry neighbors. We provided a Cooling Center for homeless neighbors through much of 2021. We care about seniors who face increased life challenges in the later years of their lives. We care deeply about racial equity - supporting our local Black Lives Matter movement. We are invested in LGBTQ civil rights and full social inclusion. We care about kids in our community, especially kids who are living in poverty or who are at risk of violence. On any of these fronts, there are regular ways for you to become involved and join us in blessing our neighbors - and church membership is not required!
